Therapist in Frisco, TX | ADHD & Christian Counseling

At Healing Harmony, we work with young adults who are doing everything right on paper and still feeling like something is off. ADHD that makes even a productive day feel exhausting. A faith that has been stretched by real questions with no easy answers. An identity shaped by childhood moves across countries that still surfaces in the way you relate to people. An anxiety that does not clock out when the workday ends. We are not here to optimize you. We are here to listen without judgment and walk alongside you through the actual work. If you are searching for a therapist in Frisco, TX, you are in the right place.
Frisco has grown into one of the most recognized names in North Texas, expanding from open prairie into one of the fastest-growing cities in the country over the past two decades. The Star, the Dallas Cowboys' world headquarters, sits at its center as a symbol of the ambition and momentum that defines the city. Stonebriar Centre, Frisco Square, and the growing district around Legacy Drive bring a steady flow of young professionals, transplants, and young families into a city that prizes achievement and trajectory. Collin College's Frisco campus adds a layer of students navigating early adulthood in a community that can feel more polished than personal.
That momentum is genuinely exciting for a lot of people, and it can also be quietly exhausting in ways that are hard to talk about. Young adults in Frisco often describe a particular kind of loneliness that comes from being surrounded by people who all seem to be thriving. We also serve a significant number of internationally raised young adults across the Frisco and Prosper corridor who are building lives in a community that does not always have language for what they carry. Online sessions make consistent therapy easy to fit into a demanding schedule anywhere in the Frisco area.

Therapy that starts with actually listening We do not start with a formula. We start by listening, not just to what is wrong but to the full picture of who you are: your history, your patterns, the things you want to build, and the things that keep getting in the way. Jeffrey brings both professional training and real lived experience with ADHD and Third Culture Kid identity into every session. That means you are not just understood clinically. You are understood personally.

A free call with no pressure Getting started looks like a real conversation, not a process. The first step is a free 30-minute introductory call so we can hear what is going on and figure out the best fit for where you are right now. There is nothing to commit to before that call feels right.

Sessions that build something real over time Once therapy begins, sessions happen online via Zoom for young adults anywhere in Texas. The first part of the work is about getting to know your story in real depth before anything else. From there, we move toward the clarity, the relief, and the practical tools that actually hold up when life gets hard.

Individual therapy tends to attract young adults who have been pushing through for a while and are starting to wonder whether the amount of effort it takes to feel okay is actually normal. It is not. You do not have to figure out what is underneath it on your own. Jeffrey works from your specific story and your specific pace. Sessions are not about completing a course of treatment. They are about building something real: actual clarity, actual relief, and the kind of self-understanding that changes how you move through daily life.
A lot of young adults carry real questions about faith that they do not feel safe asking in their communities. Questions about doubt, about pain, about the gap between what they were taught and what they are actually experiencing. Those questions are not weaknesses. They are honest. Christian therapy at Healing Harmony is not about having the right answers. It is about creating a space where the real questions can be spoken without judgment and worked through with genuine care. The work is led by curiosity, not by a script.
Anxiety in young adults often looks productive from the outside. High achievement, constant preparation, the ability to think ten steps ahead. What it feels like from the inside is different: exhausting, relentless, and hard to turn off even in moments when nothing is actually wrong. Anxiety therapy at Healing Harmony focuses on understanding what is actually underneath the worry rather than just managing the symptoms. Clients describe a real shift from feeling like the anxiety is in charge to having something real to work with when it shows up.
Living with ADHD means navigating a brain that works differently from most of the systems you are expected to function inside. That gap creates a particular kind of exhaustion, not because you are not capable but because the default environment was not designed with you in mind. Jeffrey brings both professional training and his own ADHD diagnosis into the work. Sessions are not about applying a system someone else built. They are about understanding how your specific ADHD actually shows up and building strategies that work for you.
Third Culture Kids carry a very specific kind of grief that most people in their lives have never been equipped to hold. The loss of places, of versions of yourself, of the kind of continuity that most people take for granted. That grief is real and it deserves to be met with someone who actually understands it. Jeffrey brings six countries of lived experience into the room. He understands what it means to be the new kid in yet another school, to translate yourself across cultures, and to build identity without a single fixed address. Sessions are built around the full complexity of your experience.
For a lot of young adults, depression feels less like sadness and more like a slow disconnection from things that used to matter. A flatness. An absence of the energy or motivation to show up for things you care about. It can be hard to name and even harder to talk about. Therapy for depression at Healing Harmony creates a steady space to understand what is underneath what you are feeling and begin to work with it rather than around it. There is no pressure to get to a certain place by a certain time. There is just honest work alongside a therapist who is in it with you.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, Jeffrey accepts Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, and Blue Cross BlueShield.

  • What if I’m not sure which therapy service I need?

That’s okay. During our intro call, we’ll explore your current challenges and help guide you toward the service that best fits your needs.

  • Can I switch therapists if needed?

Switching may be possible depending on your needs.
