Therapist in Irving, TX | ADHD & Christian Counseling

At Healing Harmony, we work with young adults who are keeping up with the pace on the outside and are not always sure what it is costing them on the inside. ADHD that makes even a high-functioning day feel like it takes twice the effort. A faith that is holding questions it has not been able to resolve. An identity shaped by growing up between countries that comes up in ways you did not expect. An anxiety that is easy to push past until it is not. We are not here to streamline you back into productivity. We are here to do the work that actually matters. If you are looking for a therapist in Irving, TX, you are in the right place.
Irving is one of the most internationally cosmopolitan communities in North Texas, anchored by the Las Colinas urban center with its Mandalay Canal, Toyota Music Factory, and dense concentration of global corporate campuses. The proximity to DFW International Airport makes Irving a hub for internationally mobile professionals, frequent travelers, and globally connected young adults whose lives span multiple countries and time zones. Heritage District and the residential neighborhoods throughout Las Colinas have a significant South Asian, Filipino, and Latin American population that reflects Irving's character as a genuinely global city embedded in the heart of the DFW metro.
That international character means Irving is home to a significant number of young adults navigating TCK experiences, bicultural identities, and the particular challenges that come with building a life far from where you were formed. We also work with young professionals in the Las Colinas corridor who are navigating high-demand careers while carrying internal questions that a corporate campus does not know how to hold. Sessions are online and available to anyone in Irving and throughout the DFW area.

Therapy that starts with actually listening We do not start with a formula. We start by listening, not just to what is wrong but to the full picture of who you are: your history, your patterns, the things you want to build, and the things that keep getting in the way. Jeffrey brings both professional training and real lived experience with ADHD and Third Culture Kid identity into every session. That means you are not just understood clinically. You are understood personally.

Sessions that build something real over time Once therapy begins, sessions happen online via Zoom for young adults anywhere in Texas. The first part of the work is about getting to know your story in real depth before anything else. From there, we move toward the clarity, the relief, and the practical tools that actually hold up when life gets hard.

Explore our services

Many young adults find their way to individual therapy after a stretch of trying everything else first. Pushing through. Optimizing. Talking to the people they trust. When those stop being enough, it is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign that the situation calls for something more than what has been tried so far. Jeffrey starts with your story and builds from there. Sessions are not about applying a formula to your situation. They are about understanding your specific experience and developing the clarity, the relief, and the real tools that make a lasting difference in how you move through daily life.
If your faith has gotten complicated, if you are carrying questions you have not been able to ask out loud, if doubt or disappointment has settled in somewhere that is hard to address, Christian therapy at Healing Harmony is a space where all of it has room. You do not need to be further along than you are. Sessions here are grounded in care and free from the expectation that you will arrive at a specific conclusion. The goal is to create honest space for what is actually true and walk through it without judgment or a predetermined script.
Anxiety in globally mobile and high-achieving young adults often looks like a feature rather than a problem. The anticipation, the thoroughness, the ability to plan for every contingency. Inside it is a different story: exhausting, constant, and hard to justify slowing down even when the cost is clear. Anxiety therapy at Healing Harmony goes into what is actually driving the pattern. Not the surface symptoms but the underlying relationship with uncertainty that creates them. The shift clients describe is not about feeling less. It is about being less managed by the anxiety when it shows up.
Living with ADHD means navigating a world that was not designed to make space for how your brain works. That friction does not go away with more effort or better intentions. Understanding it, working with it, and building sustainable strategies around it is a different project entirely, and it is one worth doing. Jeffrey has ADHD and has lived the experience of figuring out what actually works versus what everyone else says should work. Sessions are about understanding your specific ADHD and developing tools that hold up under real conditions, not in a controlled environment.
The experience of growing up between countries builds a particular kind of resilience and leaves a particular kind of gap. Full fluency in multiple worlds but native to none of them. A history of transitions that shaped who you are in ways that most people around you have never had to reckon with. Jeffrey has lived across six countries and brings that lived experience directly into his work with TCK clients. He understands the grief, the identity complexity, and the real strengths that come from that kind of upbringing. Sessions are built to work with all of it.
For many young adults in demanding environments, depression is easy to rationalize. The tiredness makes sense. The disconnection makes sense. The loss of motivation makes sense. Until it has been there long enough that it clearly does not just make sense anymore. That is the right time to get support. Sessions for depression at Healing Harmony are built around understanding what is underneath the weight and beginning to work with it honestly. No timeline, no performance expectation. Just steady, compassionate work alongside a therapist who will stay in it with you.

ABOUT US

FAQ

  • Do you provide virtual counseling, especially if we are outside of Texas or the USA?

Jeffrey, LPC, can only provide online counseling if you are physically within Texas. If you are based elsewhere, Rebekah can support you under her life coach license.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, Jeffrey accepts Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, and Blue Cross BlueShield.

  • What if I’m not sure which therapy service I need?

That’s okay. During our intro call, we’ll explore your current challenges and help guide you toward the service that best fits your needs.

  • Can I switch therapists if needed?

Switching may be possible depending on your needs. Since Jeffrey is a licensed therapist who accepts insurance and Rebekah is a life coach, a switch from Jeffrey to Rebekah wouldn’t work if you need therapy with insurance coverage. Simply book a free 30-minute intro call to share your story and explore how counseling can help. You’ll also get answers to any questions about our process.
