Therapist in Keller, TX | ADHD & Christian Counseling

At Healing Harmony, we work with young adults who have been functioning well on the outside while something quieter wears on them underneath. ADHD that makes ordinary responsibilities feel heavier than they should. A faith that has picked up real questions along the way. An identity built across countries that still shapes how you move through close relationships. An anxiety that rarely takes a day off. We do not come in with a script. We come in ready to actually listen. If you are looking for a therapist in Keller, TX, you are in the right place.
Keller has managed to keep a genuine small town character even as it has grown into one of the more sought after suburbs in northeast Tarrant County. Old Town Keller still carries a working ranch history that shows up in local events and architecture, while Bear Creek Park and the trail system around it give the city a slower, more residential rhythm than its busier neighbors. Keller ISD's reputation draws a steady stream of families who moved specifically for the schools, and that emphasis on achievement runs through daily life here in ways that are not always spoken about directly.
A lot of young adults who grew up in Keller describe a childhood defined by high expectations and a quiet discomfort with admitting when things are not okay. We work with young adults navigating that legacy, along with those raised across multiple countries who have settled into Keller's family oriented neighborhoods and are still working out what genuine belonging looks like. Sessions are online and available to anyone in Keller and throughout the surrounding Tarrant County communities.

Therapy that starts with actually listening We do not start with a formula. We start by listening, not just to what is wrong but to the full picture of who you are: your history, your patterns, the things you want to build, and the things that keep getting in the way. Jeffrey brings both professional training and real lived experience with ADHD and Third Culture Kid identity into every session. That means you are not just understood clinically. You are understood personally.

Sessions that build something real over time Once therapy begins, sessions happen online via Zoom for young adults anywhere in Texas. The first part of the work is about getting to know your story in real depth before anything else. From there, we move toward the clarity, the relief, and the practical tools that actually hold up when life gets hard.

Young adults in Keller often come to individual therapy after years of being the one who has it together. Maybe that role has gotten exhausting, or maybe something has finally cracked that effort alone cannot fix. At Healing Harmony, sessions start with your actual story rather than an assumption about what you need. Jeffrey listens first and builds the work from there, at a pace that reflects your real situation rather than what looks efficient.
Faith can feel complicated to question in a community where church involvement is woven into daily life. If doubt has crept in, or if your relationship with God feels different than it used to, that is not something to hide from here. Christian therapy at Healing Harmony makes room for honest questions without steering you toward a specific conclusion. The work is grounded in genuine care, not performance or expectation.
Anxiety in Keller often looks like diligence from the outside. The double checking, the constant anticipation of what could go wrong, the difficulty ever fully relaxing even when things are objectively fine. That constant alertness has a real cost. The work in anxiety therapy focuses on what is actually underneath that alertness rather than managing the surface behavior. Clients describe a genuine shift from being run by anxiety to having something workable when it shows up.
ADHD in a high expectation environment like Keller can be especially hard to admit to, let alone address. The gap between your effort and your results is real, and it is not a reflection of how capable or intelligent you are. Jeffrey has ADHD himself and brings that lived understanding directly into sessions. The work centers on how ADHD specifically shows up in your day to day life, not a one size fits all system, and builds strategies that actually hold.
Growing up across cultures leaves you with a kind of fluency that most people around you have never had to develop, along with a quieter grief about places and identities left behind. Settling into a stable community like Keller does not automatically resolve that. Jeffrey has lived across six countries and understands the Third Culture Kid experience personally. Sessions explore the identity layers, the unspoken losses, and the real strengths that come from that kind of upbringing.
Depression can hide easily behind a well kept home and a full schedule. Underneath, there can be a flatness, a loss of interest in things that used to matter, and a sense that nothing is going to shift even when things look fine from the street. Therapy for depression at Healing Harmony creates honest space to understand what is underneath that flatness and begin working with it, without a fixed timeline or performance expectation.

Yes, Jeffrey accepts Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, and Blue Cross BlueShield.
