Therapist in Lewisville, TX | ADHD & Christian Counseling

At Healing Harmony, we work with young adults who have been managing for a long time and are starting to wonder what it would feel like to actually be supported. ADHD that has cost you more than most people around you understand. A faith that is asking harder questions than it used to. An identity built across countries that still shapes how you relate and where you feel at home. An anxiety or low mood that has become so familiar it barely registers anymore. We are here to make real space for the real story. Not the managed version. All of it. If you are looking for a therapist in Lewisville, TX, you are in the right place.
Lewisville sits between Denton and Dallas in a position that makes it a natural gathering point for young adults who want proximity to both without fully committing to either. Lake Lewisville anchors the city's recreational identity and draws residents from across the northern DFW suburbs for weekends on the water. Old Town Lewisville has a quiet character and community scale that feels different from the broader suburban corridor, while the city's access to Highway 35E and the President George Bush Turnpike connects residents to the full DFW job market. The community is genuinely diverse and has grown steadily with a mix of longtime residents, young families, and transplants settling in from across the country and abroad.
Young adults in Lewisville often describe a community that has a lot to offer and can still feel hard to connect to in a meaningful way, particularly during quieter seasons when what is going on internally does not match the pace of the world around them. We work with young adults across the Lewisville area, including those connected to nearby campuses in Denton and those building early careers in the DFW metro. Sessions are online and available from anywhere in Lewisville and throughout Denton and Dallas counties.

Therapy that starts with actually listening We do not start with a formula. We start by listening, not just to what is wrong but to the full picture of who you are: your history, your patterns, the things you want to build, and the things that keep getting in the way. Jeffrey brings both professional training and real lived experience with ADHD and Third Culture Kid identity into every session. That means you are not just understood clinically. You are understood personally.

A free call with no pressure Getting started looks like a real conversation, not a process. The first step is a free 30-minute introductory call so we can hear what is going on and figure out the best fit for where you are right now. There is nothing to commit to before that call feels right.

Sessions that build something real over time Once therapy begins, sessions happen online via Zoom for young adults anywhere in Texas. The first part of the work is about getting to know your story in real depth before anything else. From there, we move toward the clarity, the relief, and the practical tools that actually hold up when life gets hard.

Individual therapy often becomes necessary when everything a person has been trying on their own has reached its limit. That limit is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign that the situation needs something more than self-management, and that is exactly what therapy is for. Sessions at Healing Harmony are built around you and your story from the first conversation. Jeffrey takes the time to understand where you are before the work begins in earnest. The result is therapy that reflects your real situation and moves at the pace that actually makes sense for you.
A lot of young adults carry faith questions they have not been able to ask out loud in their communities. Doubt, disappointment, a longing for something that feels more honest than what they have access to. Christian therapy at Healing Harmony is a space where those questions have room to breathe. Sessions are grounded in genuine care rather than performance or expectation. The goal is not to bring you to a predetermined conclusion about your faith. It is to create honest space for what is actually true and walk alongside you in whatever that looks like.
Anxiety that does not present as obvious panic can be hard to take seriously. But anxiety shows up in a lot of ways: as avoidance, as chronic overpreparation, as a difficulty being present in the moment, as a sense that something is about to go wrong even when there is no evidence it will. That is still anxiety and it is worth addressing. The work in anxiety therapy is not about eliminating uncertainty from your life. It is about understanding what is driving the anxiety and building a more genuine relationship with what cannot be controlled. Clients describe that shift as more useful than any specific coping technique.
Living with ADHD means operating in a world where the gap between your intentions and your outcomes can feel impossible to close. That gap is not about effort. It is about a neurological reality that creates real friction with the systems and expectations most environments run on. Jeffrey specializes in ADHD therapy and has ADHD himself. He understands the experience from the inside and does not need it explained. Sessions are built around understanding how ADHD specifically shows up in your life and developing tools that hold up in real conditions.
The experience of growing up between countries leaves a mark that does not disappear with time. It shapes how you attach to people and places, how you relate in close relationships, and how you carry identity in a world that expects you to belong somewhere specific. Jeffrey has lived across six countries and brings that lived experience directly into TCK therapy. He understands the specific grief, the identity complexity, and the strengths that come with a Third Culture Kid upbringing. Sessions go into the full reality of what you are carrying.
Depression in young adults often does not look the way it is depicted. It is quieter, more internal: a loss of energy for things that used to matter, a sense of disconnection, a flatness that makes it hard to show up for your own life even when you want to. Therapy for depression creates consistent, honest space to understand what is underneath what you are feeling and work toward something real. No timeline, no performance expectation. Just steady work alongside a therapist who takes it seriously.
