Therapist in Mansfield, TX | ADHD & Christian Counseling

At Healing Harmony, we work with young adults who are further along than they feel. ADHD that makes it hard to trust your own follow through even when you are genuinely trying. A faith that has grown more complicated the more life you live. An identity shaped by growing up across countries that still shows up in unexpected ways. An anxiety or heaviness that has quietly become part of your normal. We are not here to rush you toward a fix. We are here to actually understand what you are carrying. If you are looking for a therapist in Mansfield, TX, you are in the right place.
Mansfield sits at the point where Tarrant, Johnson, and Ellis counties meet, and that geography has shaped it into a community that has grown quickly without losing its small town center. Historic Downtown Mansfield still anchors a lot of community life, while newer development along US 287 and around Mansfield National Golf Club has brought a steady wave of young families and professionals who wanted more space than Arlington or Grand Prairie could offer. The pace of growth here has been fast enough that a lot of longtime residents describe barely recognizing parts of the city from a decade ago.
That kind of rapid change tends to bring both opportunity and disconnection, and a lot of the young adults we work with in Mansfield are navigating the pressure of building an adult life in a place that is still figuring out its own identity. We also serve internationally raised young adults who have settled south of the core metro and are working through what belonging looks like after years spent between countries. Sessions are online and available to anyone in Mansfield and the surrounding southern Tarrant County area.

Therapy that starts with actually listening We do not start with a formula. We start by listening, not just to what is wrong but to the full picture of who you are: your history, your patterns, the things you want to build, and the things that keep getting in the way. Jeffrey brings both professional training and real lived experience with ADHD and Third Culture Kid identity into every session. That means you are not just understood clinically. You are understood personally.

Sessions that build something real over time Once therapy begins, sessions happen online via Zoom for young adults anywhere in Texas. The first part of the work is about getting to know your story in real depth before anything else. From there, we move toward the clarity, the relief, and the practical tools that actually hold up when life gets hard.

Young adults in Mansfield often arrive at individual therapy carrying something that has built up quietly over time, whether that is a stress pattern that will not ease up, a relationship dynamic that keeps repeating, or a sense that something needs to change without a clear starting point. Sessions at Healing Harmony begin with your full story rather than a generic plan. Jeffrey listens closely before anything else happens, and the work builds from there at whatever pace genuinely fits your life.
A lot of young adults in Mansfield grew up with faith as a given, and adulthood has brought questions that do not fit as neatly as things once did. That shift is not a failure of faith. It is often a sign of taking it seriously. Christian therapy at Healing Harmony makes room for those questions without steering you toward a predetermined answer. The work is grounded in real care, not in performing certainty you do not actually feel.
Anxiety for a lot of young adults in fast growing communities like Mansfield shows up as constant forward planning, difficulty settling even when things are fine, and a low grade sense that something could go wrong at any moment. That pattern has a real cost over time. The work in anxiety therapy focuses on understanding what is actually underneath that vigilance and building a steadier relationship with uncertainty. Clients describe a genuine shift once that understanding takes hold.
ADHD often gets written off as a discipline issue, especially for young adults who are otherwise capable and driven. The real issue is a brain that processes tasks differently, which creates friction with systems that expect a certain kind of consistency. Jeffrey has ADHD and understands that friction firsthand. Sessions are built around how your specific ADHD shows up in daily life rather than a standard checklist, and the tools that come out of that work actually hold up.
Growing up between countries builds a kind of resilience that is hard to explain to people who have only ever lived in one place, along with a grief that often goes unnamed. Settling somewhere new, even somewhere as stable as Mansfield, does not erase that history. Jeffrey has lived across six countries and brings that lived experience directly into TCK therapy. Sessions go into the identity questions, the losses, and the strengths that come from a Third Culture Kid upbringing.
Depression can be easy to overlook in a community defined by growth and momentum, because slowing down does not fit the pace around you. Underneath that pace, there can still be a real flatness, a loss of motivation, and a sense that things are not going to change. Therapy for depression at Healing Harmony creates honest space to understand what is underneath that flatness and begin moving toward something real, without a fixed timeline or pressure to perform recovery.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, Jeffrey accepts Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, and Blue Cross BlueShield.

  • What if I’m not sure which therapy service I need?

That’s okay. During our intro call, we’ll explore your current challenges and help guide you toward the service that best fits your needs.
