Therapist in Prosper, TX | ADHD & Christian Counseling

At Healing Harmony, we work with young adults who are building a lot at once and starting to feel the strain of it. ADHD that makes keeping pace with a fast moving life genuinely exhausting. A faith that has raised harder questions than it used to answer. An identity shaped by growing up across countries that still surfaces in how you relate and belong. An anxiety that rarely lets you settle even when things look good on paper. We are not here to add another item to your list. We are here to actually listen. If you are looking for a therapist in Prosper, TX, you are in the right place.
Prosper has become one of the fastest growing towns in the entire country, and that growth is visible everywhere from the new subdivisions along Preston Road to the master planned communities like Windsong Ranch and Star Trail that have replaced what used to be open farmland. Historic Downtown Prosper still holds onto a small town center a few blocks from where new construction continues to expand the city's footprint, and Frontier Park has become a gathering point for a population that is overwhelmingly young and still putting down roots. Prosper ISD's reputation has been a major driver of that growth, pulling in families who moved specifically for the schools.
A lot of young adults in Prosper are navigating the particular pressure of a community that is still being built, both literally and socially, which can make it hard to find real connection even in a fast growing population. We also work with internationally raised young adults who have settled in Prosper's newer developments and are still working out what belonging looks like somewhere this new. Sessions are online and available to anyone in Prosper and the surrounding northern Collin County area.

Therapy that starts with actually listening We do not start with a formula. We start by listening, not just to what is wrong but to the full picture of who you are: your history, your patterns, the things you want to build, and the things that keep getting in the way. Jeffrey brings both professional training and real lived experience with ADHD and Third Culture Kid identity into every session. That means you are not just understood clinically. You are understood personally.

Sessions that build something real over time Once therapy begins, sessions happen online via Zoom for young adults anywhere in Texas. The first part of the work is about getting to know your story in real depth before anything else. From there, we move toward the clarity, the relief, and the practical tools that actually hold up when life gets hard.

Young adults in Prosper often come to individual therapy in the middle of a lot of change at once, whether that is a new home, a new job, or simply the pressure of building an adult life in a community that is still forming its own identity. Sessions at Healing Harmony start with your specific story rather than a general framework. Jeffrey takes real time to understand what is actually going on before any plan gets built, moving at the pace that fits your life.
A lot of young adults raised in faith communities around Prosper reach adulthood with real questions they were not given much room to ask. If your relationship with God feels more complicated than it used to, that complication deserves honest space. Christian therapy at Healing Harmony is not about steering you toward a specific conclusion. It creates real room for what is true for you right now, worked through with genuine care rather than expectation.
Anxiety in a community built on constant growth often shows up as a need to stay ahead of whatever comes next, a difficulty settling even in good moments, and a low grade sense that something could shift at any time. That vigilance has a real cost even when it looks like drive. The work in anxiety therapy focuses on what is actually underneath that vigilance rather than managing it on the surface. Clients describe a genuine shift once that understanding takes hold.
ADHD can feel especially isolating in a community moving as fast as Prosper, where everyone else seems to be keeping up with new schools, new neighborhoods, and new expectations without visible effort. The friction you feel is not a personal failing. It is a brain working differently inside systems built for someone else. Jeffrey has ADHD himself and brings that understanding directly into sessions. The work is built around your specific patterns rather than a generic productivity plan, and the tools that come out of it actually hold up.
Growing up across countries builds an adaptability that most people never have to develop, along with a quiet grief for places and versions of yourself left behind. Moving into a brand new community like Prosper does not erase that history, even when everything around you looks fresh and settled. Jeffrey has lived across six countries and understands the Third Culture Kid experience personally. Sessions make space for the identity questions, the unspoken losses, and the real strengths built from that kind of upbringing.
Depression can be hard to name in a place defined by growth and new beginnings, because everything around you is supposed to feel exciting. Underneath that, there can still be a real flatness, a loss of motivation, and a sense that nothing is going to change no matter how new the surroundings are. Therapy for depression at Healing Harmony creates honest, steady space to understand what is underneath that flatness and begin moving toward something real, without pressure to perform recovery on a set timeline.
